Nancy’s still-life paintings explore how we bring nature into domestic spaces, from city gardens to kitchen tables. Through bold colour, rich texture and uncluttered composition, she captures fruit, flowers and pollinators with a vivid sense of presence.

Sustainability is central to Nancy’s practice. She repurposes everyday tools and materials, using needles to paint dandelions and milk cartons to paint poppies, giving discarded objects a second life.

A self-taught artist, Nancy began exhibiting in 2019 after a 30-year career in the charity sector, where she led campaigns that raised millions of pounds for good causes. Her work was soon discovered on Instagram by Karl Backhurst, owner of Linton59 and DNG Contemporary Art.

Her partnership with Karl has developed over seven years, during which time they have sold more than 80 paintings. Within five years, Nancy was supplying 15 galleries across the UK and Ireland and left her charity role to focus solely on art. She is always a visitor favourite at Art Fairs across The U.K. Her work has been selected for numerous juried exhibitions, including
the Society of British Artists in London and the Royal West of England Academy in her home city of Bristol. Her work attracts collectors around the world.
